We formulated this offer after demands from customers who want one simple tariff plan just like their mobile phones.
We have decided to include nearly every type of call that a customer makes so very little escapes the call plan. This is a genuine offer that really does give nearly all calls for 3p/min.
What it does include is:
- Calls to any of the seven mobile phone networks of : 3, Vodafone, O2, Orange, T-Mobile, Virgin and Tesco Mobile all at the 3p rate.
- Most international calls including Eastern and Western Europe, The Americas, The Indian Sub continent, the Far East and Pacific Rim countries, in fact most international calls that customer’s make, all at the 3p rate. See List of Countries
- Expensive Calls to all 08 numbers like, 0871* 0870, 0845 and 0844 costing over 10p a minute with many suppliers, all at the 3p rate.
- Calls to any UK local or national number beginning with 01, 02 or 03.
The calls we don’t include should really be barred anyway! They are:
- Calls to yacht’s and satellite phones that cost £5 a minute or more.
- Calls to chat-lines that cost up to £2 a minute!
- Calls to 118 directory services (Google does a better job!) average £1 each
- Calls to the speaking clock (why not look at your watch or computer) (123)
- Calls to international mobile phones
- Calls to premium lines of patients in hospital and similar services (070) up to 50p a minute
- Calls to the Operator costing £2 or more a time
- Reverse charge calls costing £3 or more a time
- Any other premium rate or services types of calls not listed as included.
For most customers this is exactly what they have been looking for and it gives them a very low cost and fixed expenditure every month.
*We do make exceptions to guard against fraud or unfair manipulation of the tariff, e.g. ringing your own 0844 or 0871 number to generate an income or unusual and unfair shaping of traffic to exploit the tariff. A fair usage policy of no more than 5% of calls can be applied (at management’s discretion) to customers calling 0871 numbers, customers may not route calls to other carriers to exploit the tariff, other restrictions may apply, see full terms and conditions for details.

The average length of a BT call is a fair comparison to BT’s “capping” of calls. Most phone calls tend to be short and numerically fewer as the time goes toward any capped level. The amount of time taken off by capping does not make up for excessive pence per minute charges averaged by the shorter calls. Most calls are very short and proportionately as many pay much higher rates before any cap than the savings make on longer calls. For this reason an average call length is a more than fair representation of the savings a customer makes. Individual customers may vary, quotations available on request.
